A new concept, successfully tested and delivered on time.

This was the first of our housings to be made from Rigid Polyurethane, the contract was for seventeen boxes to be used in an Upending Control Center, the equipment inside them aided the installation of a 'Jacket' (the underwater structure supporting an Oil rig) sited in the Caspian Sea.

Because these housings were the first of their kind, it was decided to have a test to destruction. The test housing imploded at a pressure of fifty eight bar, confirming our calculations and well above the seven bar working pressure. The design also had to cope with wave slap and for this reason the boxes are bolted behind the flange making them extremely secure.
