Our standard product is available in three sizes with internal volumes from 1.7 to 35.5 Litres,
and depth ratings from 30 to 80 Metres. They are cast from a rigid polyurethane that has proved its self extremely durable in the harshest environments,
with good impact resistance and mechanical strength as well as resisting hydrolysis, and degradation from sunlight or marine organisms.
All the housings incorporate a captive seal made from a soft Silicon, this makes them capable of sealing where there is a low pressure differential and an O Ring would not be suitable, for example: shallow water, pressure compensated housings and high altitude applications. For mounting components in the boxes Sub plates are available in a variety of materials. A Sub Plate would normally be fastened on pillars to the bottom of the housing, thus isolating the components from deflections of the side walls under pressure. The fasteners used are metric A4 St/Steel Cap Head Screws, unless an alternative is requested. For details on the individual housings click on the links above.
